Energy and Environment Agency of Arrábida, Portugal

Graduated in Forestry Engineering, University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), specialisation in Renewable Energy Management, Portuguese Catholic University (Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences).


Coordinator of the Forest Biomass Unit at the Biomass Centre for Energy (CBE) between 1995 and 2002, after which she coordinated the Research and Development Unit of the Setúbal Peninsula Forest Association (Aflops) until 2006.


Responsible for the creation and development of the Energy and Environment Agency of Arrábida (ENA) of which she was director between 2006 and 2008, from that year she assumed the position of managing director simultaneously with the function of advisor, in the areas of mobility, environment and energy, in the President Cabinet of Palmela Municipality, coordinating its Environment Office. She was also responsible for the creation process of the Energy and Environment Municipal Agency of Loures (AMEAL), in 2015.


Currently she is executive and managing director of ENA, holding more than 20 years of experience in the design, development and coordination of sustainability activities and projects, both national and international, in the scope of natural resources, energy efficiency and renewable energy.
