Skordilis A.

f. General Director, Hellenic Recycling Agency

Adamantios Skordilis is a Chemical Engineer, Doctor of Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. He has served in the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Greece, as Head of the Department of Solid Waste Management, the Alternative Waste Management Office, the State Emergency Planning Direction, the Central Water Service Direction and as General Director of the Hellenic Recycling Agency.

He was a member of the EU Waste Management Advisory Committee, the National Council for the Prevention of Biological and Toxic Risks of the Hellenic Ministry of Health, the EMAS Registration Committee, the Environment Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece and as member of the Board of Directors in the Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) in Greece.

He has published 10 Books (in Waste Management, Recycling and Environmental Management of Organizations and Businesses), 1 Monography (University of Dresden) and 100 Scientific Publications in Scientific Journals and Conferences.

It was awarded in Greece in 2013 with the Environmental Award for his contribution to the Organization and Promotion of Recycling in Greece.

Finally, he has taught at the University of the Aegean, the Technical University   of Crete, Harokopio University, the University of Athens and the Hellenic Open University.
